Everest Base Camp & Gokyo Trek via Chola Pass 14 days

Trekking route among hikers and mountaineers as there are some of the most spectacular summits along the way. The route to the EBC is exactly the same historic path which had to be done for the first ascent of the Everest back in 1953. It’s especially for those, who want to fulfill their dreams to come under the Everest’s spell and experience the view of the highest peaks in the world. The Mt. Everest is located in the Sagarmatha (Nepalese name of the Mt. Everest) National Park in the eastern part of Nepal with a height of 8848m. The starting and return point of the trek is Lukla. Commonly the treks from Lukla to the EBC include reaching the Kala Pattar takes 14 days. You cannot see the Mt. Everest from the EBC. So if you are not interested in visiting the EBC, the trek to the Kala Pattar and back to Lukla takes usually 12 days and reaches an altitude of 5545m.
Gokyo Everest Base Camp Trek is The Kala Pattar is one of the most famous mountains for panorama views in the world. Seeing the sunrise reflecting from the summit of the Mt. Everest is just fascinating great. On our way (both to the EBC and Kala Pattar) we will pass many small Sherpa villages including the famous trading town Namche Bazar. Here we will have an extra day for acclimatization. On this day we are going to have a site trip to an Everest view point and we can visit the Tengboche Monastery (3867m). Apart from the way up to the EBC on the last day, which is covered by moraine and rocky ground, the conditions of the paths are really good. We have to start to walk early in the morning to see a clear blue sky. After 12 o’clock clouds can suddenly raise and darken the sky. In order to maintain our schedule, we need to walk 4 to 5 hours a day. At the end of each day we will sleep in teahouses which are along the way. On the day we set off to the Kala Pattar we have to leave our accommodation with the first beams of light coming up in order to have a great panorama view from the top of the Kala Pattar. The view from the Kala Pattar is the highlight for the majority of the trekking groups because of the captivating sight. The Solukhumbu district is not only famous for its highest mountains and great views, but also for the Sherpa villages and monasteries. Mountains along our way: Mt. Everest, Kowngde, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kusungkang, Pumori and Nupse can be seen on our way.
