Gokyo Ri Trekking is one of the famous trekking in Everest region in Nepal.In the world’s highest mountain has several different names. From the westerners it became Mount Everest in 1865.More recently the government of Nepal has given it the name Sagarmatha Himal it means “Head of Ocean”.Mount Everest lies in Solukhumbu Region in Nepal. Gokyo ri 5360m above the sea level, is located on the west of the Ngozumpa Glacier ,is the largest glacier in Nepal.The image of this region is associated with the soaring view of the most popular Mountain in Nepal ,at an altitude of 8,000 including Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse and Makalu which are clearly visible from gokyo ri 5360m above gokyo lake.
Outline Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu| Check into Hotel.
Day 02 :Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m) and trek to Phakding (2610 m).
Day 03: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m).
Day 04: Rest and acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar 3440m.
Day 05: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Dole (4200m).
Day 06: Trek from Dole to Machchhermo (4470m).
Day 07: Trek from Machchhermo to Gokyo (4970m).
Day 08: Climb Gokyo Ri and trek to Machermo (4400m).
